Enjoy the sights, smells and the   in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Gatlinburg is the main entrance to the National Park. Take a stroll or a vigorous hike, plan a picnic, or get back to nature with some serious backpacking! You may even want to do some bicycling in Cades Cove where you can see bear, deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife of the great smoky mountains. Be sure to ride Gatlinburg's aerial tramway to see spectacular mountain views.

Fishing is permitted in most of the National Park's waters. Spring Break go Fishing at Gatlinburg's Little Pigeon River, LeConte Creek, Roaring Fork Creek and Dudley Creek.Once you've obtained your permit(s), fish in many of the city's waters including the Little Pigeon River, LeConte Creek, Roaring Fork Creek and Dudley Creek. There are also designated children's fishing areas which are heavily stocked with trout.

Come see a Century of Heritage in the Arts and Crafts Community 

Established a century ago and designated a part of the Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail, these artisans whittle, carve, cast, sew, weave, and create collectibles such as leather, candles quilts, dolls, wearable art, fashions, pottery, ceramics, baskets, jewelry, frameable art, photography, brooms, stained glass, scrimshaw, silversmithing and much more.

 And There's So Much More -- like shopping for bargains & antiques, and...
